School outings are an important part of a student’s educational journey, and enhance the work done in class.
If you have any questions, or if you would like to help with the organisation or funding of school outings, please email us.
Every year, CFBL students have the opportunity to discover new places and find out more about other cultures. This is essential to their development as well-rounded human beings, and contributes to making them more open-minded. We would encourage all students to participate in school trips, and we invite you to contact us if you would like help financing your child’s trip.
Here is a partial list of trips that are organised throughout the school year:
- CP: 3 days in Suffolk
- CM2: 4 days in Normandy
- 4ème: exchange with Valence (2 x 1 week)
- 3ème: exchange with Berlin (2 x 1 week)
Isle of Wight
Each year at the end of September, 6ème students go on a trip to the Isle of Wight to get to know each other better. It’s an ideal way to favour integration for new students. Over the course of 2 days, children take part in activities to enhance group cohesion and team spirit: obstacle courses, construction games, logic puzzles, zip line, archery, climbing, games on the beach and of course campfires. This year, this essential trip will take place from 27 to 29 September.
At the end of their schooling at CFBL, 3ème students take a trip to Bombannes (near Bordeaux) for a week at the beginning of July to get to know their future classmates from the Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill before joining them in 2nde in September. Sailing, cycling, surfing… by partaking in these activities, the students learn to work together and to communicate – while getting a lot of fresh air in the process. This trip takes place every year during the first week of July. An information meeting will take place at the end of the civil year.
