School trips and outings

Outings

School outings are an important part of a student’s educational journey, and enhance the work done in class.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to help with the organisation or funding of school outings, please email us.

School trips

Every year, CFBL students have the opportunity to discover new places and find out more about other cultures. This is essential to their development as well-rounded human beings, and contributes to making them more open-minded. We would encourage all students to participate in school trips, and we invite you to contact us if you would like help financing your child’s trip.

Here is a partial list of trips that are organised throughout the school year:

  • Year 6 (CM2): trip to Normandy

  • Year 7 (6ème): orientation trip to the Isle of Wight

  • Year 8 (5ème): sailing trip

  • Year 9 (4ème): exchange with Valencia

  • Year 10 (3ème): end of year trip to Dorset

Orientation trip for Year 7 students

Each year at the end of September, 6ème students go on a trip to the Isle of Wight to get to know each other better. It’s an ideal way to favour integration for new students. Over the course of 2 days, children take part in activities to enhance group cohesion and team spirit: obstacle courses, construction games, logic puzzles, zip line, archery, climbing, games on the beach and of course campfires. This trip takes place every year at the end of September.
