Last week, our students took part in activities for Anti-Bullying Week, exploring kindness, respect, and how to stand up against bullying. The week began with Odd Socks Day on Monday, celebrating diversity and encouraging everyone to embrace differences. Here’s a few examples of what each class got up to:
MS (Middle School): Read a book about accepting differences and discussed what bullying means.
GS (Grande Section): Enjoyed the book Mathieu, focusing on harassment and how to respond.
CP: Had class discussions on the topic and read the book No More Bullying.
CE1: Wrote about ways to show kindness and created a display in class.
CE2: Worked on a school climate survey for a collective analysis of potential issues in the class council.
CM1: Participated in an anti-harassment workshop with Marjorie on Monday and watched videos each day about bullying.
CM2: Took part in a daily kindness challenge, played “Acts of Kindness Bingo,” created an “Acts of Kindness” tree display in class, and watched BBC videos on Anti-Bullying Week.
We are proud of our students for engaging so thoughtfully with these important themes and for helping create a kinder, safer school community.
