CE2 pupils step into the spotlight: a colourful musical project

The CE2 (Year 4) classes are embarking on an adventure that is as ambitious as it is exciting: creating their very own song, in the form of a remix of the famous “Champs-Élysées”! From the initial idea to the final product, pupils will experience every stage of the musical creation process, stepping into the shoes of real artists.

Thanks to the involvement of Holywell Studio, the pupils will have the opportunity to discover the world of a professional recording studio. Guided by Jennings Couch, they will write their own lyrics, record their track and then learn how to perform it. And because a song would not be complete without its visual universe, they will also create their own music video.

This project is a wonderful collective adventure. It helps to develop creativity, self-confidence, oral expression and teamwork, while offering pupils a rich, hands-on and memorable musical experience.

A big thank you to Mr Bertin, who leads this project with energy and enthusiasm, as well as to Mrs Menteyne and Mrs Davies, whose invaluable support is essential and who will also play instruments to accompany the pupils. A fantastic artistic journey lies ahead for our CE2 classes!
