We are delighted to share some wonderful news from the London Children’s Flower Festival (LCFF).
Last year’s CP pupils took part in the LCFF’s Spring Seed Growing Competition, putting their gardening skills into practice and carefully nurturing their plants in the CFBL garden.
As part of the competition, LCFF judge Roxane came to visit our garden and see the children’s work for herself. Following her visit, the pupils were delighted to receive a certificate recognising their participation and efforts.
But the story did not end there. We have just received the exciting news that CFBL has won the “First Time Cup”, an award recognising our first participation in the competition.
The cup will officially be presented to the school at a special awards ceremony in November.
A huge congratulations to our young gardeners and to everyone who helped them look after the garden and bring this project to life. What a fantastic achievement for our first year taking part.
We look forward to celebrating again when the trophy arrives at CFBL in November.
