On 13 March 2026, the 4A class had the pleasure of welcoming Arnaud de La Grange, senior reporter at Le Figaro, for a lively and thought-provoking discussion about journalism and the responsibilities it entails.
In preparation for the visit, pupils had carefully worked on their questions in advance. During the session, they led the exchange with seriousness and curiosity, asking about the realities of the profession, the role of the journalist, and the way information is gathered, shaped and shared.
The discussion gave pupils a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of journalism as a demanding profession, while also reflecting on the importance of accuracy, critical thinking and responsibility in the world of information.
Following the visit, pupils wrote their own accounts to share what they had learned from the exchange. This writing activity marks the beginning of a new French sequence on information literacy and highlights both their engagement and the quality of their thinking.
We invite you to discover their texts, which reflect the depth of their reflections and the strong impression this meeting left on the class: Link 1 / Link 2
This event was made possible thanks to the organisation of our school librarian, Lucie Percetti, whom we warmly thank.
