We are delighted to welcome Rodrigue Barbosa as CFBL’s new Deputy Head for Secondary.
For Mr Barbosa, this is very much a return to familiar ground. A qualified History and Geography teacher, he first joined CFBL in 2011, when the school opened, before later Deputy Head for Secondary.
After several years in Brussels and Accra, where he held a range of leadership and academic roles, Mr Barbosa has now returned to a school that has always held a special place in his career.
In his new role, he is keen to build on the work already carried out by the Secondary team, with a particular emphasis on listening, dialogue and supporting each individual pupil, while continuing to strengthen academic excellence. He also places great importance on close partnership between school, families and staff in supporting pupils’ success and wellbeing.
We wish him a very warm welcome back to CFBL!
