The CFBL Sports Saturdays programme continues to bring together pupils, parents and staff through enjoyable and energetic sporting events that combine learning, teamwork and community spirit.
On Saturday 28 February, the Laser Run session took place at the Dôme, where 23 children and adults came together in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Everyone took part with great energy, balancing the desire to learn with a strong sense of friendly competition. A special mention goes to Maxence and his parents, who delivered an especially impressive performance on the day.
The momentum continued on Saturday 14 March with the CFBL badminton tournament, held at the Dôme in Kentish Town. Organised in pairs, the competition brought together teams across three categories: Cycle 3, Cycle 4 and Adults. Each match included two singles and one doubles game, creating a dynamic and engaging format for all participants.
The tournament was a great success and showcased both sporting commitment and team spirit. In the Adults category, Jean and François finished in first place, ahead of Mateo and Corentin in second. In Cycle 4, Alexandre and Luca took first place, while Alexandre and Joseph finished second. In Cycle 3, Maxence and Aksel secured first place, while Olivia and her mother were also recognised hors concours. Raphaël and Oleg finished third, followed by Djibril and Paulin in fourth place.
Congratulations to all the participants for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and excellent performances. The next Sports Saturday will take place on Saturday 2 May and will focus on jogging, as part of preparation for the Fun Race. Through Sports Saturdays, CFBL continues to foster a strong culture of participation and shared enjoyment through sport.
