The grand finale of the Megabrain Competition saw Faeroceler face off against Bellynxhorse in an atmosphere that was both intense and full of suspense. Both teams demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge and excellent team spirit.
🔔 Speed Round 1
The final began with the first Speed Round, consisting of five questions. Teams had to buzz in as quickly as possible to answer.
Each correct answer earned 10 points, while an incorrect answer incurred a –5 point penalty. Speed and risk-taking were crucial right from the start.
📚 Topic Round
In the Topic Round, each team selected a subject of their choice.
Four questions were asked per topic: correct answers earned 10 points, and any unanswered or incorrect questions could be passed to the opposing team. This round highlighted strategy and the depth of the finalists’ knowledge.
⚡ Speed Round 2
A second Speed Round increased the tension, following the same rules as the first: speed, focus and accuracy were key to scoring valuable points.
🌟 Expert Round
Next came the Expert Round, where one specialist from each team answered five questions in their chosen area of expertise.
Each correct answer earned 10 points, allowing pupils to showcase their knowledge in depth.
🖼️ Picture Round
The finale concluded with a Picture Round, in which teams had to identify images as quickly as possible. As with the Speed Rounds, 10 points were awarded for correct answers and –5 points for mistakes.
🏆 The Winners
After an intense and closely fought final, Bellynxhorse emerged victorious and are crowned the grand winners of the Megabrain Competition.
