As part of their history programme on 18th-century bourgeois societies and the triangular trade, Mrs Killick organised an immersive role-playing activity for Year 9 pupils.
It’s 1784: students took on the roles of merchants, traders, and members of bourgeois society, enjoying Fortnum & Mason tea and delicious scones… what else? A fun and engaging way to explore society and commercial exchanges in the 18th century!
