This week, our Year 7 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable experience during their team-building trip to the Isle of Wight. The main aim of the trip was to strengthen friendships, build teamwork skills, and help everyone settle into school life.
The programme included outdoor sports and fun activities, cooperative games on the beach, problem-solving workshops, and team challenges. Pupils took part in kayaking, zip wire, orienteering, archery and the Matrix course. These activities encouraged pupils to develop self-confidence, collaboration, and a sense of responsibility, all while having fun in a beautiful natural setting.
The trip was also an opportunity to explore the island, its heritage, and its stunning landscapes. From coastal walks and hikes to water-based activities, the pupils shared memorable experiences that will stay with them for years to come.
This integration trip set the tone for a promising school year, establishing a strong sense of cohesion and solidarity among all Year 7 pupils.
