CFBL’s 6eme pupils enjoyed a rich and inspiring outing to Shakespeare’s Globe, where they took part in a guided tour and a drama workshop based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
During the visit, pupils discovered the history of this iconic London theatre and learned more about the world of Shakespeare and live performance. The guided tour gave them a deeper insight into the unique architecture and atmosphere of The Globe, while the workshop invited them to engage actively with the play through practical drama activities.
By stepping into the world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, pupils were able to explore the text in a lively and memorable way, developing their understanding through movement, performance and imagination.
This outing was a wonderful opportunity to connect literary learning with first-hand cultural experience. It also encouraged creativity, confidence and collaboration, making the experience both educational and enjoyable for all involved.
