Every October, the UK celebrates Black History Month, an opportunity to recognise the contributions, achievements and legacy of Black people throughout history and in our world today.
Throughout the month, CFBL pupils will be exploring Black history and cultural heritage through a range of learning activities. This is an opportunity to discover inspiring figures, broaden their understanding and reflect on the importance of diversity, equality and respect.
Revisiting a Special Radio Récré Project
Last year, our CE1 and CM2 pupils took part in a wonderful project with Radio Récré, creating a podcast dedicated to Black History Month.
We invite you to (re)discover their work by listening it here. A great starting point for meaningful conversations at home about history, diversity and inclusion.
