Years 7 and 8 read aloud.
This year, Year 7 and Year 8 pupils at the school are taking part in the national competition "Si on lisait à voix haute", organised by France Télévisions as part of the programme La Grande Librairie, in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
In class, pupils choose a text, practise reading it aloud and learn to use their voices accurately and expressively. This project enables them to improve their reading skills, gain confidence and share the pleasure of literary texts. Selections will take place until the end of January 2026.
Through this collective experience, reading becomes lively, oral and fully shared. Parents are invited to support their children at home by listening to them during practice sessions, providing valuable encouragement and recognition for their efforts. The entire school community is rallying around this project: pupils, teaching staff and administrators, with the latter participating in the judging panel to support and encourage our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils.
