Year 3 pupils recently experienced a moving and enriching moment in the classroom: the hatching of chicks.
Over several days, the children carefully observed the eggs, followed the different stages of development and gained a hands-on understanding of the life cycle. This activity enabled them to connect their scientific learning with a real experience, observed directly in the classroom.
Beyond the biological discovery, the project also helped pupils develop important attitudes: patience, curiosity, care for living things and respect for animals. They were able to ask questions, make observations and share their sense of wonder at each new stage.
This learning experience offered a memorable moment of class life, combining scientific observation, emotion and discovery. A wonderful way to learn differently, up close with living things.
